What Huntley IL Homeowners Are Saying

Homeowners consistently highlight our cleanliness, communication, and professionalism. Many note that the service felt easier than expected, with fewer disruptions and better organization than past experiences with other contractors in Huntley IL. From start to finish, our focus is on delivering a smooth experience and results that last. That experience is what keeps homeowners coming back for additional painting services when the next project arises.

Paint It Forward - Giving Back One Project at a Time

At D’Franco Painting & Wallpaper, we believe a fresh coat of paint can do more than improve a home. It can lift someone’s spirit, restore a community space, and remind a family that people still look out for each other. That belief is at the heart of our Paint It Forward program.

What started as a small, local initiative has grown into one of the most meaningful things we do. Each year, we donate our time, skills, and materials to deserving families and nonprofit organizations in the Chicagoland area, people who need the work done but simply cannot afford it.

How It Works

We ask our customers, followers, friends, and neighbors to nominate a person, family, or nonprofit organization in their community who is facing hardship and could benefit from a painting or restoration project.

From the nominations received, we select recipients and get to work at no cost to them.

It is one more way we can use what we do every day to make a real difference in someone’s life.

2020

St. John’s Lutheran Church…  Elgin, IL Water damage had caused chunks of plaster to fall away from the walls of a hallway and stairwell. We repaired the surfaces, restored several doors that had not been painted in years, and refreshed the space with a brighter, cleaner color throughout.

Walcamp…  Kingston, IL Walcamp serves youth groups, families, weddings, and retreats throughout the year. The main lodge and cabin exterior had gone too long without staining, and the wood was beginning to show it. We power washed the structure, painted the trim, and stained the log exterior before the elements could do lasting damage.

Betty…  Elgin, IL At 89 years old, Betty spends her days making backpacks for children at St. Jude, crafting doll furniture for Operation Christmas Child, assembling activity bags for kids at her local church, and helping organize her church’s annual craft bazaar. When we heard that water damage had left parts of her home in need of repainting, it was an easy call.

Walcamp…  Kingston, IL (Part II) We returned to Walcamp to tackle another building on their property that needed power washing and exterior staining.

Elgin Pregnancy Center…  Elgin, IL The Elgin Pregnancy Center provides free ultrasounds, support for new single mothers, and a range of community assistance services. We repainted their offices and bathrooms to give the space a fresh, welcoming feel.

A Family in St. Charles, IL A house fire destroyed most of this family’s home, and an insurance gap left them without full coverage for the loss. We repainted the entire interior and exterior…  and it got even better when Sherwin Williams stepped in to help with materials. It was one of the best days we have had on a jobsite.

Two Families with Special Needs Members Two local families caring for loved ones with special needs had fallen behind on painting projects around their homes. We were glad to help.

A Family with a Flooded Basement When a basement flood caused damage that insurance only partially covered, this family was left to manage the rest on their own. We came in and took care of the painting so they could focus on everything else.

Nominate Someone Deserving

If you know a person, family, or nonprofit organization that could use our help, someone facing hardship who cannot afford a painting project, we want to hear about them. Nominations are open to the community, and every submission is read and considered.
