Let the customer know we are reviewing this checklist to ensure we exceed your expectations
We really strive for google reviews -ASK THEM- is there anything that would prevent you from giving us a 5 star.
Make sure you have ALL tools- screwdriver/cordless screw gun, extension cords, drop cloths, paper, tape, plastic, primers, paint, gloves (We don't want to make trips to the store or shop once we start- get what you need before you arrive- or have it arranged to be delivered)
Introduce yourself and any other crew members
Verify all of the areas being painted/refinished
Verify we have the right colors and sheens
Inspect the floors! Is there any damage already there- if so - take pics, make notes so we are not held responsible for these pre existing conditions.
We do not move large furniture, fragile items, TV's refrigerators, ovens, dryers due to the risk of water damaged lines, gas or vent lines. IF they sign a hold harmless agreement-(QR code on work order) we can move the item- but remind them we are not liable for damages. Use a piece of mason board or cardboard to cover the floor where needed.
other items in a room that need to be moved- we allow 15 min to move awy and 15 mon to move back, if addional time is needed to move furniture we do have to change for the time to move items in aroom we are painting
Remind them that we will be taping the wall/trim etc. We cannot be responsible for tape removing the wallpaint--
Review start/end times
Make sure they know we will be taking before and after pictures
Ask what washroom you can use if needed
Verify if they have a preferred sink we can use for water and cleaning
Ask where the place location is to keep tools (overnight)
Let them know you must wear shoes during the day, we will use drops as needed.
Give them an idea of how you see the job progressing so they can plan their days, when you think to be done, and how you hope to earn a 5 star google review!
Remind them you will provide daily completion forms so they can know what was done and when we will finish. We will have to do a final completion review with them on the last day where we will also be collecting final payment.

Drywall repairs
we allow 30 minutes for drywall repairs, if additonal time is needed, that time will be billed in addition tot the estimate provided. We do our best to estimate these things, but it is a guess at best.
items we have to move we are not responsible for. We try to take care in moving items, but we are painters. Items can break without intend of doing so.
