Terms of Service & Customer Agreement

Applies to: all residential and commercial painting and wallpaper services provided by D’Franco Painting & Wallpaper, Elgin, IL.


1. Purpose of This Page

We believe clear expectations build lasting trust.
These terms explain how we price, schedule, and deliver our painting and wallpaper services—transparently and professionally.


2. Transparent Pricing

  • All pricing shown on our Instant Pricing page and written estimates is based on real project averages in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

  • Every estimate includes labor, materials, and prep—no hidden fees.

  • Any additional work (such as drywall repair or furniture moving) will always be discussed and approved before billing.


3. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit is required to secure scheduling.

  • The remaining balance is due upon project completion.

  • We accept checks, credit cards, or ACH payments through our secure, PCI-compliant processors (QuickBooks or Stripe).

  • No financial data is stored on our servers.


4. Scheduling & Delays

  • We’ll confirm project start dates and notify you of any weather or product delays.

  • If your project is rescheduled due to weather, it will be prioritized at the next available time.


5. Warranty & Service Guarantee

  • Every job includes a 1-Year Touch-Up Warranty on workmanship.

  • Paint failure caused by leaks, damage, or manufacturer defects is excluded—but we’ll help you work with the paint supplier to resolve it.


6. Safety, Cleanliness & Site Access

  • Our team members are background-checked, insured, and trained in clean jobsite procedures.

  • We use HEPA dust extraction (Festool systems) to minimize dust and debris.

  • Homeowners agree to provide access to work areas and utilities (water and electricity).


7. Liability

  • D’Franco Painting & Wallpaper carries full liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

  • We are not responsible for existing damage or structural defects discovered during work.

  • Any item the homeowner requests to move is done at their risk unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    (See our Hold Harmless Agreement if applicable.)


8. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Cancellations within 5 business days of the scheduled start may forfeit the deposit unless otherwise agreed.

  • Refunds are not offered for completed work, but any dissatisfaction will be addressed under our workmanship warranty.


9. Privacy & Data Security

Your personal data is handled under our Privacy & Security Policy.
All online forms use HTTPS encryption and spam protection.


10. Dispute Resolution

Our goal is always satisfaction.
If any issue arises, please contact info@dfrancowallpaper.com so we can resolve it directly.
Unresolved disputes are subject to mediation under Illinois law.


11. Updates to These Terms

We review and update these terms regularly to stay transparent and compliant.
The “Last Updated” date at the top always reflects the latest version.
